Become an Degree Holder

A General Degree of M.A (Master of Arts) or B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science) typically extends over three years of full-time study. A full-time student will take 120 credits in each year of study to gain the necessary 360 credits for the award of a General Degree. In comparison, a four-year Honours degree usually includes a total of 480 credits. Prospective students are encouraged to apply to a named Honours degree in preference to the General Degree which is very broadly based and does not provide the same depth or level of specialisation. Some students set out from the start to work towards a General Degree; others who graduate with a General Degree are students who start with the intention of taking an Honours degree and then change track subsequently. Students who are unsure of what subject they wish to take at university when they first apply may find that entering the General degree allows them additional time in which to narrow down their studies before making a final commitment. The choice of subjects that you study must be agreed with your Adviser of Studies at the start of your degree programme. s

2-3 years

Eligibility: Students seeking admission in Fashion Designing courses at UG level must have passed their class 12th examination with not less than 50 per cent from a recognised board in India.
They may have to appear for entrance exams like NID DAT, UCEED and NIFT.
